Abstract

The Mandailing Natal economy will grow 4.34 percent in 2022. Experiencing an increase compared to 2021 with a growth of 3.20 percent.
Based on the production approach, the highest business sector growth was achieved by the transportation and warehousing business sector by 7.29 percent, followed by the provision of accommodation and food and drink by 6.68 percent, and other service business fields by 6.47 percent.
Three business fields that give a dominant role to the GRDP of Mandailing Natal Regency according to business fields in 2022, namely: agriculture, forestry and fisheries business fields with 46.72 percent; wholesale and retail trade, and car and motorcycle repair 13.84 percent; as well as the construction business field of 12.15 percent.
When viewed from the expenditure approach, the growth for the LNPRT consumption component was 5.95 percent, followed by the household consumption component at 5.14 percent, and the gross fixed capital formation component at 3.65 percent. Meanwhile, the government spending component contracted by 0.54 percent.
Based on the expenditure side, the component of household consumption expenditure (PKRT) made the largest contribution, namely 64.02 percent; followed by a gross fixed capital formation component of 20.95 percent; and the government consumption component of 13.93 percent.
Nominally, the GRDP of Mandailing Natal Regency in 2022 at current prices reached IDR 16,403.53 billion and the GRDP of Mandailing Natal Regency in 2022 at constant prices reached IDR 10,001.97 billion.
