Implementation of the KSA Survey forRice commodities began to be implemented nationally in 2018.KSA Survey field observations are carried out on the last 7 (seven) days of each month.Based on the results of the KSA Survey in Mandailing Natal Regency, in 2022, it will be extensiveThe rice harvest reached around 20,813 hectares or increased by 20,813 hectares3,654 hectares (17.56 percent) compared to 2021. Meanwhile, rice productionin 2022, namely 82.44 thousand tons of GKG. If converted into rice,Rice production in 2022 will reach around 47.29 tons of rice, or an increase of 5,801tonnes (12.27 percent) compared to rice production in 2021, namely 41.49 thousandtons. In addition to producing harvested area estimates, the KSA Survey also providesdescriptions related to other rice observation phases, such as the preparation stage, plant areaearly vegetative phase, late vegetative, generative, potential crop failure, land areafallow agriculture, as well as the area of ​​agricultural land planted with crops other thanpaddy.
